Obituary of Heather Silvestri

SILVESTRI, Heather (nee Allen) 

After a courageous battle with cancer, Heather passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the age of 30. Loving wife and best friend to Mark. Cherished daughter of Ronald and Tracey Allen (nee Usick) and daughter-in-law to Eric and Linda Silvestri. Loving sister to Deanna (Brad) and sister-in-law to Ally (Ryan). Beloved granddaughter of Ronald and Cathy Allen. Predeceased by Ted and Esther Usick. She will be dearly missed by all of her aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Heather was born in St. Catharines, Ontario, and eventually made her home in Ridgeway with her husband Mark. Her passion for music, dancing, performing arts, the French culture, cooking, baking, coffee, sushi and anime will never be forgotten and will live on in our hearts and memories forever. Her positive energy radiated like a ray of sunshine towards everyone she came into contact with. She loved to be surrounded by friends and family, and would welcome anyone in with opens arms and a warm heart. 

A sincere thank you to the Hematology Unit and support teams at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, Dr. Scher, all of the nurses and staff who cared for Heather and her friends and family who provided their support. 

In keeping with Heather's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private graveside service and burial will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. A Celebration of Heather's life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre (Hematology Unit) or Canadian Blood Services.
