Obituary of Janet Emily Craft
Peacefully with family and friends at her side, Janet Emily Craft (nee Sharp) has been reunited with her cherished husband of 48 years, John Hubert Craft and beloved daughter, Juanita Arlene Dionne (nee Craft) on Friday, December 15th, 2023, in her 82nd year.
Janet was as elegant as she was genuine, she made kindness seem effortless and believed that the greatest things in life come for free. With her sassy humour, quick wit, and natural charm, it's clear to see the everlasting abundance of love that continues to surround her.
Bowling and cards were activities Janet enjoyed doing often and sharing memories of baking with her family.
Janet’s world revolved around her grandchildren, who she fondly referred to as her whole heart.
Survived by Janet is her granddaughter, Juliana (Nathan Schwarz) Dionne, Grandson, Johnathan Dionne, and best friend of 47 years, Sheila Volchert.
Predeceased by Janet are her parents, Clarence, and Edna Sharp; daughter, Juanita Dionne; brothers, Robert, Larry, Clarence (Wayne), and Ronald Sharp.
We wish to express our appreciation to, Lisa (Fred) Hildebrand, Kylene (Matt Dobson) Unger and Lukas Godfryd for their ongoing friendship and support to Janet and her loved ones.
In keeping with Janet’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with SIMPLER TIMES, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place, and a private burial will be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to Veteran Affairs Canada in memory of Janet.
