Obituary of Arthur Allen Flindall

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Arthur ‘Al’ Flindall in his 88th year. He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Joan. He also leaves behind his daughters, Debra Smith and family, Linda (Marty) Mazzarella and family, and Laurie (Bob) King, and his beloved granddaughter, Olivia King, for whom he will always be ‘Boa.’ Brother-in-law of Kitty (Ron) McClelland and family, Tom (Felicia) Goulet, Louise (Andy) Kirkness and family of B.C., Mary Goulet and family, and Brian Carlson and family. He is predeceased by his parents, Alice and Bruce, his brother, Ted, and in-laws Des Goulet, Bud Goulet, Chickie Carlson, Michelle and Chuck Johnson, and Susie and Bob Bates. He was an employee of General Motors for 33 years. Al was fond of horse racing, travel, and good food. His favourite times were spent with his family, eating freshly caught fish, and watching curling and classic cowboy movies. As per Al’s wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will take place privately.
