Obituary of Gord Auger

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father Gordon Auger after a short battle with pneumonia at the NHS-St. Catharines site at the age of 91. Predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth (2012). Loving father of Dean (Michele), Donald (Donna) and Darren. Proud Bubba of Brad (Danielle), Brett, Samantha (Jeff), Nicole (Davie) and Katelyn; cherished Bubba of great-grandchildren Lila and Maximus. Gordon will be sadly missed by his brother, Gene (Rosella) and sisters Jeannine (Gord), Irene, Claudette and Lynn (John). He was predeceased by daughter Diane (1965), and three sons Dennis (1988), David (1993) and Dougie (2021, Jocelyn); sisters Mona, Lily, Doris, Dinah and Yvonne. Gord leaves behind many nieces and nephews to mourn his loss. The family wish to give their appreciation to the staff at Ina Grafton for their wonderful care for Dad over the last 3 1/2 years. In keeping with Dad’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted to SIMPLER TIMES CREMATION CENTRE. Cremation has taken place and Gord will be laid to rest at a date to be determined in the Veterans Section at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
