Obituary of Sybil Roberta Wilson

 

SYBIL "ROBERTA" WILSON (FARINACCI) NEE: JESSOME

 

 Passed away surrounded by the love of her family on September 21, 2021, at the Niagara Health System in St.Catharines at 80 years of age.

Beloved mother of Phyllis Maloney (Patrick), Johnny Farinacci (Celia), Eleanor Marynuik (David), and Lisa Graham (Jason). Nana to Patrick (Natasha) and Matthew Maloney, Michael and Grace Farinacci, Michael Marynuik (Amanda), Sophie and Chloe Graham. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Frederick Clifton and Anne Jessome, brothers Frederick, Philip, Louis and sisters Francis, Millie, Patricia and Eleanor.

Every person who had the good fortune of meeting Roberta was well aware of what a humorous, kind and light hearted woman she was. In her early years, she loved to fish and hike. Roberta was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Canadian Corps-Unit 44 in Thorold, where her group of ladies would proudly march  throughout Ontario and the USA.

 

Her passions included gardening and cooking. Her famous “baked ham” will be truly missed at family get togethers.  
She will be loved, missed and forever in our hearts.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Life will be held.
