Death Certificates

A Certified Death Certificate is necessary before anything can be done. A death certificate can be obtained through a Funeral Home or Transfer Service. It is a good idea to obtain multiple copies of a death certificate as most agencies require a certified certificate and not a photocopy. There are two kinds of death certificates, one from the province and the other is a Proof of Death Certificate from the funeral home or transfer service. Our firm usually includes a Proof of Death Certificate as part of our service. Some services chosen by a family may not have this included so therefor there is an extra fee charged for this service. The provincial death certificate has a prescribed fee set by the province.
